A platform built to bring a brand back to its people
In early 2025, KTM held a symbolic restart event at its headquarters in Mattighofen, Austria, lighting up the winter sky in orange as a signal of renewal. The very next day, ORANGE BLOOD was announced – a community platform where riders worldwide could share their stories, organize rides, and apply to help shape the brand's future through the Orange Board.
From brief to launch in two weeks
After initial planning of the tech stack and feature set, I built the platform in close collaboration. The core challenge was the community feed: riders needed to submit photos and videos, which had to be reviewed and approved by KTM before going live. I built an upload portal with a backend automation workflow, allowing the KTM team to approve content with a single click – publishing it to the platform automatically from there.
2,940 applications in the first six days
The response was immediate. Within the first six days, the platform received 2,940 Orange Board applications, 791 community posts, and 54 organized ride events.
